Best Holiday cookies bar none! Everyone's absolute favorite... melt in your mouth, buttery amazingness. Freakin' Yum.
Melt Away Cookies:
-½ lb butter (2 squares)
-1/3 c. powdered sugar
-¾ c. cornstarch
-1 c. flour
Beat Butter, blend in dry ingredients by hand. Grease cookie sheet. Drop by teaspoonfat, roud balls onto cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, watching carefully. Drop teaspoon of frosting on top while still warm.
Frosting:
-1 3 oz. package cream cheese
-1 tsp. vanilla
-1 c. powdered sugar
-red or green food coloring
Whip up together. Spread on with a knife, or jazz em' up with a piping bag. Add crushed candy cane, sprinkles or any kind, or our family favrite are the silver BB balls.
